PORTO VS GALATASARAY
KICK OFF: Wednesday 3rd OCT 2018 | 21:00 CET
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE | Estadio do Drago
Group D | Matchday 2
Can Galatasaray End their away games hoodoo in the Champions League against FC Porto?
FC Porto and Galatasaray clash for the first time in the Champions League competition. A friendly in 2013 went Galatasaray’s way, but there’s enough reason to believe the visitors will come unstuck in this fixture.
Porto secured a draw in their first match against Schalke courtesy of a 75th-minute penalty conversion having missed an earlier spot kick. Porto will have to be sharper and more clinical to get the win when Galatasaray visit. It’s hard seeing them stopping their opponents from notching up at least one, having conceded in all their last five games.
Galatasaray got off the mark in the Champions League with an astounding 3 – 0 win against Lokomotiv Moscow. Midfielder Badou Ndiaye got sent off with a second yellow card but managed to get the win nonetheless. Sitting comfortably at the top of group D, Galatasaray will be out to get a consecutive win and increase their chances of qualifying from the group.
FC Porto will be under pressure to get maximum points, but Galatasaray has momentum will see them over the line.
