Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace
KICK OFF: Monday 1st October 2018 | 21:00 CET
PREMIER LEAGUE WK7 | Vitality Stadium
Back in-form Bournemouth to collect all three points with confidence
There is usually very little to separate these two sides. They drew 2 – 2 on both legs last season and their desire for goals can produce another goal-fest when they meet again for the first time in the new season.
Bournemouth continues to enjoy success in the new Premier League campaign with a 4 – 2 victory over Leicester. Everyone wants his name on the scoresheet for the Cherries. Three of Bournemouth’s defenders including Ake, Cook, and Smith have a goal this season adding to the tallies of Fraser, King, and Wilson. Team spirit is running high, and you have to wonder how many they might get past Palace.
The Eagles deservedly recorded a 1 – 0 win away at Huddersfield, but this one will be a challenging trip. Wilfred Zaha stole the show in the previous match, and much will be expected of him if he starts against Bournemouth. Palace looks up to Zaha for inspiration going forward, so they will hope he’s fit for this clash. Cristian Benteke may also return to share the workload up front.
Bournemouth is the better side at the moment, and with their free-scoring form, I can only see three points for the hosts.
Key Match Facts
