Brighton vs Tottenham
KICK OFF: Saturday 22nd Sept 2018 | 18:30 CET
PREMIER LEAGUE WK6 | AMEX STADIUM
Are Spurs just too strong or can Brighton pull off another surprise victory?
Brighton has had mixed results with their only season victory so far coming over Manchester United. Spurs, on the other hand, have suffered only once at the hands of Watford. The two sides shared the spoils at the Amex in this fixture last season, but Tottenham has the quality to overpower the hosts in this one.
The Seagulls have produced electric performances on home ground, and they will be out to frustrate the visitors in this one. Chris Hughton hopes to welcome back many of his first-team players from injuries including Captain Bruno, winger Jose Izquierdo, and forward Florin Andone. Glenn Murray and Paskal Grob will likely lead the front line with the former proving prolific, especially at home.
Spurs go into the match after their Champions League trip to Inter, but that is unlikely to hinder their chances of a win at the Amex. They have decent strength in depth albeit no replacement for Harry Kane. Pochetinno will hope the striker can power through the congested fixture list with Lucas Moura is likely to start alongside in attack.
Glenn Murray is a physical threat, but I can’t see anything but a Spurs win in this one.
