Crystal Palace vs Newcastle
KICK OFF: Saturday 22nd Sept 2018 | 16:00 CET
PREMIER LEAGUE WK6 | SELHURST PARK
Can either side come out on top in this potentially tight affair between Crystal Palace and Newcastle
What happened to Crystal Palace? They started off the season in style with a win at Fulham then went on to lose three consecutive games. Benitez men have not won a match either, though they could be forgiven having already played Spurs, Chelsea and champions Manchester City.
Having lost their last match at home to Southampton, Crystal Palace will need a result against Newcastle. Palace did not score last time out, and so they’ll be looking to make amends in this one. Furthermore, Palace hasn’t scored against Newcastle United in open play over the last three meetings. Milivojevic penalty secured a point for the hosts when the two sides met last met at Selhurst Park.
Newcastle has been the stronger side in recent meetings with Palace. They’ll travel to Selhurst Park knowing they can get a decent result. They did find the net versus Spurs, Chelsea, and City, and this should give them the confidence that they have a good chance for a positive result in this fixture.
Both teams will go for it and eventually share the spoils.
