LEICESTER VS WOLVES
KICK OFF: Saturday 18TH August 2018 | 15: 00 CET
Premier League WK2 | KING POWER STADIUM
Leicester Fancied but Wolves have the mental strength to avoid defeat
Newcomers Wolves have a tough trip to Leicester, can they escape another defeat in successive games?
Leicester looked lively against Manchester United, and we can expect to see the same kind of energy when they play newly promoted Wolverhampton. We saw some sloppy moments at the back, which means Claude Puel has some work to do in that area. The team seem to have lost the aggressiveness they had a few years back, which is affecting their goal-scoring capability. Jamie Vardy showed some level of ruthlessness though, and new recruit James Maddison was impressive.
Wolves showed a significant level of resistance against Everton and are the only promoted team to have avoided defeat on matchday one. We should expect them to be strong again against Leicester. They had an edge in their recent friendly, and new signing Jimenez Rodriguez has already hit the ground running in the Premier League.
The Foxes showed weaknesses in defence. Wolves put two past Everton, albeit reduced to 10 men, and they can net more goals at King Power Stadium. The away side will stand firm once again.
