Newcastle United vs Leicester City
KICK OFF: Saturday 29th Sept 2018 | 16:00 CET
PREMIER LEAGUE WK7 | St. JAMES PARK
Can the Magpies lift their game and strive for victory against Leicester?
Newcastle United has only a point this season compared to Leicesters two. Having faced only the high-profile sides in the league, Newcastle will be confident of recording their first win of the season against inconsistent Leicester.
Rafa Benitez men have scored in each of their last three games against Chelsea, City, and Arsenal. The desire to get something out of any game is there. Against Leicester, the hosts need to go all or nothing. Newcastle has another tough away game to come at Old Trafford, so a much-needed victory will be significant.
The Foxes two successive defeats puts Claude Puel under pressure to turn things around quickly. Leicester will be without Captain Wes Morgan after the defender saw red against Bournemouth. Morgan has been a permanent fixture at the backline, and his absence is a huge blow. At the other end, James Maddison has been an inspirational figure, and he’ll be a threat.
Newcastle has to win this one. They are playing at home and will be desperate for the points.
