Brazil Bans Free Bets and Bonuses

Under the new law, bookmakers are prohibited from offering any form of rewards, even if they are solely intended for promotion or advertising purposes. This ban has been implemented due to concerns about the fairness of the betting market and the potential increase in gambling addiction.

Operators are now required to accept bets only from registered customers and must pay out winnings within 120 minutes after the conclusion of a sporting event.

In addition, Brazil has also restricted several types of payments, with the exception of electronic transfers, for the same reasons mentioned above. These new regulations aim to ensure a more responsible and transparent betting environment in the country.
