Microgaming & Games Global Deal Overview
In 2021–2022, Microgaming sold its iGaming distribution business, including the Quickfire platform, the full online game portfolio, and global distribution rights, to Games Global. The transaction was fully completed in May 2022 following regulatory approvals. As a result, all legacy Microgaming slots and progressive jackpot titles are now operated and distributed by Games Global, combining Microgaming’s historic game library with a modern studio network and large-scale casino distribution. Microgaming continues to operate as a separate brand, focusing on platform and technology solutions, while Games Global acts as the sole owner and distributor of the former Microgaming game portfolio for online casinos.
