Online Casino Registration Fees in Ontario
To open a casino under an Ontario license, applicants must pay annual registration fees set by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). Casino operators are required to pay $100,000 per site, gaming equipment manufacturers $15,000, and gaming-related suppliers $3,000. Non-gaming-related suppliers and trade unions each pay $2,000. Employees must also be registered: Category 1 Gaming Assistants (with significant supervisory roles) pay $300, while Category 2 (without major responsibilities) pay $165. All payments are made through the iAGCO online system—amounts under $30,000 via card, and $30,000 or more by wire transfer. Registration fees are non-refundable, and additional investigation costs may apply.
